Founded in 1951, GranthamUniversity developed as part of the traditional college and university movement of the late 20th Century with a main campus in Southern California. As interest in Grantham‘s degree programs grew beyond campus boundaries, the college developed distance education programs to serve a geographically dispersed student body. Over time and as technology advanced, so too did our ability to serve our students. In the late ’90s, Grantham began offering degree programs exclusively online.
Today the University offers more than 50 online undergraduate and graduate degree programs and certificates. GranthamUniversity is nationally recognized as one of the top military-friendly colleges in the country, and is proud to support and honor its military students, faculty and staff. Possessing a keen understanding of the challenging military lifestyle is an important part of the university’s mission to help its military veteran and active duty student population achieve their goals by earning a quality, relevant higher education.
