CHERYL HAYEK, EDD.
As president of LPF Services, Dr. Cheryl Hayek brings more than two decades of experience to partner universities as they collaborate and guide faculty to develop and deliver quality, student-centered, outcomes based, and accreditation-worthy programs online at scale.
In addition to her role at LPF Services, as provost emerita of Grantham University. Dr. Hayek serves as a Commissioner for the Distance Education Accreditation Commission (DEAC), and is an approved commission site visitor. With over 25 years serving the education sector, Dr. Hayek has focused on quality, faculty-driven curriculum, embedded student support program models, and has developed and tested her own student retention model.
Prior to joining LPF Services, Dr. Hayek served as associate provost and vice president for faculty & student experience before taking on the role of provost and chief academic officer for Grantham University. During her tenure at Grantham, Dr. Hayek created the VIP²® Leadership Program and the Swaddled Support Services (SSS)® retention model for adult learners, earning Grantham University the 2011 Innovative Best Practice/New Program Award. In 2005, she was as awarded a grant from the Aurora Foundation to develop a course to teach higher education administrators to better understand the needs of veterans in transition.
Her lifetime achievements have earned her a place on select panels within the higher education arena. In addition to her university work, Dr. Hayek earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and English from Montclair State University, and holds New Jersey teaching certificates in both content areas. She also holds a Master of Arts in Education Leadership and Administration from William Paterson University and holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from Northcentral University. She volunteers her time to the higher education community not only through her commissioner role, but also reviews journal manuscripts and serves on the OLC (Online Learning Consortium) Awards Committee. Dr. Hayek speaks nationally on areas to include online program design, military learner support, faculty development and leadership, adult learners, assessment, and student retention models.
Niccole Kopit D.B.A.
CAO & VP of Operations
Dr. Niccole Kopit is the VP of Operations and Chief Academic Officer at LPF Services. In addition to a Doctor of Business Administration, she also holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University, a Bachelor of Science from Park University and several certifications, including CAEL prior learning assessor, Six Sigma Green Belt and Criteria Reference Instructional Development. Dr. Kopit has experience as a Provost at Grantham University prior to joining the LPFS team.
Dr. Kopit served as IACBE Region V’s 2015 Board President and has a long history of presenting at national conferences, board meetings and events. She recently published, “Active Military and Earning a College a Degree” for The Hechinger Report, “Reversing the Trend: The Effect of Full-Time Faculty on Student Persistence” with the Exchange and “Employer Perceptions of Military Members with Online Degree” through IABPAD. She’s been on Cambridge Who’s Who Among Executive & Professional Women since 2007 and received the DEAC Rising Star award, 2017. In addition, Dr. Kopit was named Top 40 under 40, 2018.
Sharron Lucas, MBA, PMP
University Project Manager
Sharron Lucas is a university project manager with over ten years’ experience in multiple areas of the higher education student journey including admissions, registration services, and academics. Working directly with the provost for the past five years, Sharron coordinated the programmatic accreditation projects to completion and served as the chosen academic representative on the institutional improvement committee for her expertise in process improvement and effective project management. Sharron works alongside university partner executives, deans, individual faculty, compliance, information technology, admissions, and all other stakeholders to assist in bringing projects through an efficient and effective project cycle.
Sharron holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Saint Mary, a Master in Business Administration from University of Phoenix, a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Grantham University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
